Supplier Quality Manager (all genders)

To reinforce our Quality team near Budapest, we are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager (all genders).

The position is based in Europe (Bicske, Hungary and flexible option to home office, occasional business travel.

Headquartered in Unterhaching near Munich, we also own and operate a plant in Bicske, Hungary, and maintain sales offices around the world. Our global team of 900 people welcomes you to Vincotech, a Mitsubishi Electric Corporation company.

Your skills are in demand. We need you to:

• Lead the SQA team and actively participate in supplier development work, represent the supplier quality team
  in cross-functional matters
• Co-operate with Strategic Purchasing in developing the supplier audit plan, support Strategic Purchasing by
  performing supplier audits
• Handle complaints for purchased parts and communicate with suppliers in case of malfunctioning parts and
  assure corrective actions
• Maintain the incoming data, reports in the ERP system. Manage the quarantine area for malfunctioning parts/
  products, and assure defect-free deliveries of purchased part to production
• Prepare control plans for purchase and execution of incoming goods inspection according to test planning
• Evaluate supplier quality capability and prepare necessary reports. Monitor supplier performance and coordinate Quality Review activities and meetings
• Assure Supplier Part Submission Process for new and changed products
• Identify and utilize appropriate statistical tools, mentor and train team members in use of the statisticalapplications and techniques
• Actively work with suppliers in improving quality components of goods and services, and ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained in an up-to-date state

Your credentials are persuasive. You have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance of supplied parts
• Degree of Technical or Electrical Engineering
• Excellent command of English language
• At least 3 years' leadership and 5 years' work experience in quality engineering, preferably in electronic industry
• Knowledge of management, quality techniques. Experience of problem solving skills and negotiating skills.
• SAP experience is appreciated
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels with both internal parties and with suppliers
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Proven track record of problem-solving, multi-tasking and project management skills
• Knowledge of processes of electronic manufacturing, quality techniques (FMEA, CP, DOE, PPAP, MSA, statistical analysis etc)
