Unterhaching, Germany, June 9, 2026. Vincotech, a supplier of power module solutions for power electronics, raised €12,500 for Plan International Germany's climate resilience project in Zambia through an interactive charity activity at this year's PCIM Europe trade fair. Every visitor, who took part in a reaction game, contributed to the donation.
Held every year, PCIM Europe is the leading international event for Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion, Renewable Energy and Energy Management. Vincotech has made community fundraising a tradition at PCIM Europe, using interactive attractions to engage visitors while supporting charitable causes. Over the years, attractions including wall climbing, Sudoku challenges, virtual reality experiences, and, most recently, a fast-paced reaction game have delighted attendees. This year’s crowd favorite drew around 500 participants, all playing for a good cause.
This year’s charity initiative will benefit a Plan International Germany’s project in Zambia that supports communities in responding to the effects of climate change. The project focuses on practical measures such as sustainable agriculture, green business development, hydroponics, and environmental protection. It also helps young people and farming families improve food security, gain new skills and create more stable sources of income.
“The strong response to this year’s activity shows how collective participation can create meaningful support. Projects like this demonstrate how even small actions, when multiplied by hundreds of participants, can make a real difference for communities adapting to climate change," says Vincotech CEO Eckart Seitter.
“Seeing so many people get involved in this initiative is great. Not only do donations support Plan’s work, creating visibility is just as vital to our cause. We are grateful to Vincotech and all the participants for the continuous support,” Angela Bergel, Head of Corporate and Marketing Partnerships at Plan International Germany e.V.
Vincotech would like to thank everyone involved in making this year’s charity initiative a success and looks forward to continuing its long-standing partnership with Plan International Germany and supporting meaningful projects in the years ahead.
