Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate packaging development projects, supporting NPI, sustainability initiatives, cost optimization, and product reliability
Develop, specify, and implement packaging solutions in line with business, manufacturing, and customer requirements
Drive the continuous improvement of existing packaging designs with a focus on quality, cost efficiency and industry standards
Plan, execute, and document packaging trials, testing and validation activities
Maintain project documentation
Evaluate new and existing packaging solutions to identify performance and cost improvement opportunities
Select, evaluate, and develop packaging suppliers to ensure quality and supply excellence
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to deliver successful packaging development projects
Qualification:
A BSc or MSc in Light Industrial Engineering or Packaging Engineering
Two to five years’ experience in a similar position (recent graduates and entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply)
A creative, inquisitive outlook paired with a systematic approach to problem-solving
A collaborative mindset and an affinity for working in cross-functional teams
Fluency in written and spoken English and a firm grasp of technical language
