Senior Development Engineer – Application & Concept (all genders)

The position is based in Europe (Bicske, Hungary and flexible option to home office), occasional business travel.

Your skills are in demand. We need you to:

• Support quotation process with product concept creation
• Execute new product feasibility
• Propose product BOM, electronic component selection
• Run electro-thermal simulation to optimize product performance
• Design the Layout/Pinout arrangement to create optimal product design
• Verify design by simulation
• Develop new topologies and drive topology release process and documentation
• Design Evaluation Boards for product promotion purposes
• Conduct research, experiments and publish the results in App. Notes, conference presentation or technical paper format
• Provide technical application support for Marketing, Field Application Engineering, and Quality
• Be responsible for the Vincotech simulator (VINcoSIM) technical data content
• Approve new concept designs

Your credentials are persuasive. You:

• Have min 5 years’ experience in an electronic development role
• Have a degree in Electrical Engineering or any power electronics relevant STEM
• Are competent in power electronics developments, technical research and publication
• Have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and with customers
• Have the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Have a proven track record of technical background, e.g., available publications with power electronics topics
• Have knowledge of analog electronics hardware design, technical analysis (FMEA, DOE, statistical analysis, etc.), Analog mixed signal, system and thermal simulation
• Have an excellent command of English language
