To make the best out of your work, we need you to:

• Lead the procurement categories for SMDs and interconnect materials (solder, silicones, adhesives, etc.) used in power electronics
• Manage supplier relationships strategically, building reliable long-term partnerships with key suppliers while streamlining the existing supplier portfolio to Vincotech’s needs
• Develop impactful sourcing strategies, considering cost, logistics, quality, and innovation, and implement them with Vincotech’s cross-functional teams
• Analyze markets, trends, risks and opportunities, and identify potential new sources that meet our requirements
• Conduct price and performance analyses for benchmarking and negotiations
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors and convert them into contracts
• Partner with R&D and Engineering to define the right products and processes for the future of our business

You are a good fit if you have: 

• A university degree in industrial engineering, business administration, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in B2B purchasing or supply chain management in electronics, distribution, or the EMS industry in an international environment
• Experience working in semiconductor distribution or doing business directly with distributors and OEMs of various sizes
• Solid expertise in purchasing practices, techniques, and strategies
• A hands-on mindset
• The willingness to travel
• An action-oriented, problem-solving attitude and an independent working style
• Excellent command of English and Hungarian; German is a plus
