Take on broad responsibility across the full accounting spectrum

Location: Unterhaching, Germany
Responsibilities:
Shaping and driving the financial accounting processes of our German legal entity, including its branches
Taking full ownership of statutory accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with HGB and IFRS
Overseeing general ledger and subsidiary ledgers across multiple entities with accuracy
Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports, including VAT reporting and transfer pricing documentation
Managing the process of annual financial statements and yearly tax declarations for our entities and assess tax implications in collaboration with external tax advisors
Actively contributing to business planning and group reporting while partnering closely with management on accounting and reporting topics
Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, legal advisors, banks, and insurance providers
Driving continuous improvement and digital transformation in financial processes
Leading, supporting, and further developing a small team
Managing selected supplier contracts, including insurance-related agreements
Qualification:
5+ years of solid finance experience in an international B2B environment
BS/MA degree in finance, accounting, or a recognized professional qualification such as CMA
Strong knowledge of rules and regulations (HGB, taxation)
Proactive, hands-on approach: you take the initiative, solve problems, and get things done
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues worldwide
Excellent organizational skills, resilience, and sense of responsibility
Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with SAP or another ERP system
Fluency in written and spoken English and German
