Vincotech Donates € 1,000 to Helferkreis Asyl Unterhaching for the Vacation Retreat of 26 Children
On July 31st, 26 eager children were waiting for a bus that would transport them to a five-day retreat at the youth hostel in Mühldorf am Inn. Each summer, the Unterhaching asylum support group organizes a special vacation for children from immigrant backgrounds.
The retreat emphasizes sports and physical activities, but also the importance of teamwork. For the participants, aged between four to thirteen from Unterhaching, Grünwald, Aying, and Höhenkirchen, the week's agenda was designed by the youth hostel team and counselors. The children could engage in a variety of fun activities: from team sports like soccer, which highlights that one is stronger in a team than alone, to culinary adventures like making homemade pizza and enjoying traditional campfires with stick bread and marshmallows. There was even a talent show, allowing the children to present their unique skills.
The kids all have fond memories created during this retreat and they are already looking forward to the next one. Throughout the year, Helferkreis Asyl offers a variety of engaging activities, ensuring that every year is packed with exciting experiences—be it bicycle workshops, language sponsorships, or organizing diverse leisure activities.
