flowSIM - Simulation Software for Power Modules
is a software for interactive calculation of power dissipations and temperatures by usingVincotech Modules. It is a tool supporting you by the selection of the right devices for your application.
The power loss and device temperature calculations are based on fully measured parameters.
Simulation environment for:
- motor drive
- generator / UPS
- PFC
- dynamic chip temperature and power dissipation of all module components as: Rectifier, IGBT, FRED, PFC-switch
- Interactive gate resistor optimizing

step 03: download Datas.dat (10.4MB) (last update: October 29th, 2008) into your simulation directory (update if new data are available)

flowSEL - Module selection tool
is a software to select the correct Vincotech Power Module for your motor drive application.You select the Power Module from the drive performance side.
With your input of:
- DC-voltage
- switching frequency
- heat sink temperature
- motor current
- motor voltage
- cos-phi
- motor current
- a list of modules fulfilling your specification with Tj for IGBT and FRED and the module efficiency.
- dynamic motor current
- dynamic power dissipation
