VINCOTECH RELEASES NEW 900V AND 1200V PARALLEL BOOSTER

Unterhaching/Germany, May 04, 2010 – Vincotech, a supplier of module-based solutions for power electronics, has introduced two new parallel boosters flowBoost 0 for 900V and 1200V designed for solar and SMPS applications. Both new power modules come in Vincotech’s standard flow 0 housing. The 900V booster features 900V CoolMOS^TM C3 MOSFETs; the
1200V booster is equipped with 1200V high-speed IGBTs.

Both power modules benefit from ultrafast 1200V SiC boost diodes and
bypass diodes with low forward voltage. This makes these power modules the perfect choices for input stages in solar and SMPS applications where high
efficiency (98.5%) matters. Please see also our companion products for the inverter and output section.

The new booster power modules are packaged in Vincotech’s standard flow 0
2-clip housing measuring 66mm by 33mm and 12 mm in height. They are
in serial production and samples are available.
