flowMNPC 0 - A New Module for Highly Efficient Solar Topologies

Vincotech is pleased to announce the release of new products, specifically designed for three phase solar inverter applications. 

General Features:

• Mixed voltage Neutral Point Clamped (MNPC) inverter topology
• High Speed 3 IGBT´s
• Kelvin emitter for high switching performance
• Low inductive pinout
• Temperature sensor
• 12mm housing (17mm on request)
• Optional Press-fit
  or pre-applied thermal interface material  

Advantages of flowMNPC 0 - Mixed voltage NPC topology:

• Up to 99% efficiency (8kHz)
  The module is optimized for a switching frequency up to 20kHz.
• High efficiency also with reactive power (phase displacement).
• Reduced output ripple

Advantages of Vincotech Modules:

• Minimal inductivity
  The pinning and the internal wire bond and layout structure is optimized for a low inductance between the voltages DC+ / NP and DC- / NP

• Optional flow
  The power flow is supporting a low inductive overlapped area of DC-tracks under the module and short AC-output tracks

• Kelvin emitter
  Fast switching and suppression of parasitic turn on is only possible with a separate Kelvin emitter/source on the die
