flowBoost 0 sym - Symmetrical booster with a parallel switch for high efficiency
Vincotech is pleased to announce the release of two new products designed specifically for premium solar inverter and SMPS applications.
General Features:
- Symmetric booster with parallel switch, designed for 1200 V applications
- Parallel switch with SiC boost diodes and bypass diodes
- Switching components with 84 A / 110 A nominal current
- Kelvin Emitter for high switching performance up to 100 kHz
- Temperature sensor
- Compact low-inductive dual-clip, 12 mm housing
- Optional pre-applied phase change material

Schematics:
The parallel switch configuration combines the fast, low-loss switching performance of MOSFETs with the high current capability and low conduction losses of IGBTs.

The modules are also available with pre-applied thermal interface material for easy assembly. It provides high 3.4 K/W thermal conductivity and even better thermal impedance.
flowBoost 0 sym is in serial production with samples available on request. These modules are supported by Vincotechs flowSOL simulator, which enables detailed loss calculations. Datasheets may be downloaded on the flowBoost 0 sym topologies pages.
